Section 115:00. Ward Lines. The five wards of the City are hereby to be described as follows:

Subd. 1. FIRST WARD - That portion of the City lying east of the following boundary: From the center of the intersection of Rose Street and the east City Limits line west along the center line of Rose Street to the center of its intersection with Willow Avenue, thence south along the center line of Willow Avenue to the center of its intersection with Vine Street, thence westerly along the center line of Vine Street to the center of its intersection with Pine Avenue, thence north along the center line of Pine Avenue to the center of its intersection with the Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern Railroad, thence northwesterly along the center line of the Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern Railroad to the center of its intersection with Mineral Springs Road, thence southwesterly along the center line of Mineral Springs Road to the center of its intersection with Grove Avenue, thence south along the center line of Grove Avenue to the center of its intersection with McIndoe Street, thence east along the center line of McIndoe Street to the center of its intersection with Lincoln Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Lincoln Avenue to the center of its intersection with Austin Road, thence southerly along the center line of Austin Road to the center of its intersection with 18th Street SE, thence east along the center line of 18th Street SE to the east City Limits line.

Subd. 2. SECOND WARD - That portion of the City lying east of the following boundary: From the center of the intersection of Kenyon Road and the north City Limits line southerly along the center line of Kenyon Road to the center of its intersection with Mineral Springs Road, thence southwesterly along the center line of Mineral Springs Road to the center of its intersection with Bigelow Avenue, thence north along the center line of Bigelow Avenue to the center of its intersection with 14th Street NE, thence west along the center line of 14th Street NE to the center of its intersection with St. Paul Road, thence north along the center line of St. Paul Road to the center of its intersection with 16th Street NE, thence west along the center line of 16th Street NE to the center of its intersection with North Cedar Avenue, thence south along the center line of North Cedar Avenue to the center line of Maple Creek, thence southeasterly along the center line of Maple Creek to the center of its intersection with Mineral Springs Road, thence southwesterly along the center line of Mineral Springs Road to the center of its intersection with the Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern Railroad, thence southeasterly along the center line of the Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern Railroad to the center of its intersection with Pine Avenue, thence south along the center line of Pine Avenue to the center of its intersection with Vine Street; thence easterly along the center line of Vine Street to the center of its intersection with Willow Avenue, thence north along the center line of Willow Avenue to the center of its intersection with Rose Street, thence east along the center line of Rose Street to the east City Limits line.

THIRD WARD - That portion of the City lying west of the following boundary: From the center of the intersection of Union Pacific Railroad and the south City Limits line northerly along the center line of Union Pacific Railroad to the center of its intersection with School Street, thence east along the center line of School Street to the center of its intersection with Grove Avenue, thence north along the center line of Grove Avenue to the center of its intersection with Mineral Springs Road, thence northeasterly along the center line of Mineral Springs Road to the center of its intersection with Maple Creek, thence northwesterly along the center line of Maple Creek to the center of its intersection with Straight River, thence northerly along the center line of Straight River to the north City Limits line.

Subd. 4. FOURTH WARD - That portion of the City lying south of the following boundary: From the center of the intersection of Union Pacific Railroad and the south City Limits line northerly along the center line of Union Pacific Railroad to the center of its intersection with School Street, thence east along the center line of School Street to the center of its intersection with Grove Avenue, thence south along the center line of Grove Avenue to the center of its intersection with McIndoe Street, thence east along the center line of McIndoe Street to the center of its intersection with Lincoln Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Lincoln Avenue to the center of its intersection with Austin Road, thence southerly along the center line of Austin Road to the center of its intersection with 18th Street SE, thence east along the center line of 18th Street SE to the east City Limits line.
