Brooktree Clubhouse

Brooktree Clubhouse opens March 15th.  The clubhouse is open for membership, punch card and pro shop sales.  Hours are limited until the course opens for play. 

Tuesdays 12 noon - 5 p.m.; Wednesdays & Thursdays - 7 a.m. - 12 noon

Special Events  

Boat & Water Safety - Saturday, April 1, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Students age 12 and up begin work on the Watercraft Operater's Permit packet.  This allows youth (ages 12-18) to operate jetskis, boats and other watercraft greaterh than 25hp.  Adults are encouraged to take the class to learn more about water safety on Minnesota's lakes.  Minnesota DNR Conservation Officers lead the class and demonstrate various equipment.  A special in-water session demonstrates water emergencies, gives you tips on how to handle them and let you practice what you learn.  Participants need to bring a swimsuit and towel.  You may also bring a clean life jacket to test.  This class is FREE!  Please pre-register by March 27th.

Munchkin Market & Family Fun Day - Saturday, April 22, 9:00am - 12:00pm at the Four Seasons (west end).  Sellers wanted!  Kids (ages 6-15) rent a table at the Four Seasons Center, west end, for just $10 to sell some of your old toys, games, books, etc. (no food).  Mark your own prices on your items and keep the profits!  You must have an adult with you and provide your own start up cash.  Register online, in person at the Parks and Recreation Office.  NEW this year—games, inflatables and prizes!    

Party in the Park - Saturday, May 20, 11:00am – 1:00pm at Manthey Park. A National Kids to Parks Day Celebration!  Enjoy FREE activities in Manthey Park – take your turn in the bounce house, search for nature treasures with a Nature Scavenger Hunt!  NEW this year – learn about pickleball!  The Owatonna Pickleball Association will be there and show you how to play pickleball.  While you’re there fill up for lunch with the Godfather’s Pizza truck and Kona Ice.

Youth Registration

We are now taking registrations for the following:

Calendar Photo Contest

Park Pavilion Rentals

Pavilion Rentals are available one year in advance.  Call the Parks and Recreation office at 444-4321 or stop by our office to make a reservation. Payment is due at the time of the reservation.
