MINNESOTA SENIOR GAMES 2013

Owatonna Parks and Recreation, SeniorPlace, Inc., and Owatonna Tourism, will be co-chairing the Minnesota Senior Games for 2013.  The committee charges include fundraising to registration, social events, and activities.

2013 Senior Games Dates: June 19-22, 2013

The Minnesota Senior Games are competitive events for adults between the ages of 50-99.  They include Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Billiards, Bowling, Cycling, Cross Country, Disc Golf, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Racquetball, Rifle/Shotgun, Shuffleboard, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball.

Last year, the MN Senior Games were held in Mankato and brought athletes from as far as Alabama, Florida, Texas, and California as well as the Midwest! In 2013, it is anticipated that 250-450 athletes from around the country will descend upon Owatonna to compete in the Minnesota Senior Games over a four-day program.

Parks & Recreation, Senior Place, and Owatonna Tourism will be co-chairing and coordinating the 2013 Minnesota Senior Games. The committee is charged with everything from fundraising to registration to social events and activities for the athletes.
