Support Services Division
The Support Services Division consists of the Law Enforcement Center Records Division, the Pearl Street 911 Dispatch Center, and the Steele County Attorney's Office.
LAW ENFORCEMENT RECORDS DIVISION
The Records Division is staffed with four full time Steele County employees. The Owatonna Police Department contributes 50% of their salary. The Records Department updates all names, locations, arrests, and property-loss reports as well as handles non-emergency calls, background checks, transcription, and other general requests from the public. Records staff can be reached at (507) 444-3800 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
PEARL STREET 911 DISPATCH CENTER
The 911 Center answers all requests for law enforcement assistance via 911 and the local police number (507) 451-8232. The center serves 9 law enforcement agencies, 10 fire and rescue departments, and 5 ambulance services with Rice and Steele County.
STEELE COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
The Steele County Attorney's Offices are located in the County Office Building at 303 S Cedar, Owatonna MN 55060. Their office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
